Medieval Hall

Climb the staircase at the west end of the house to the second floor and you arrive in the Medieval Hall and will be standing in what, 700 years ago, was the roof of the original house. It is worth reflecting upon the fact that the wood from which the original beams are made is approaching 1,000 years old today!
