Jane Austen's Room

There are a number of reasons to believe the Jane Austen spent time in the house and perhaps in this bedroom, as she had some local connections here. The names Benet, Wickham and Wentworth can also be found on memorial plaques in the church, as well as Admiral Croft – all characters in her books. A 2007 adaptation of “Persuasion” was filmed at the Court, as the location of the Elliot family home Kellynch Hall.

This charming suite is named after and in honour of the author. It has an anteroom attached with two sweet children’s bunk beds, making it a perfect family room.
